Serene Hozumi

Serene Hozumi (八月朔日せれね, Hozumi Serene) is a character in Megami-ryo no Ryobo-kun. She is a resident in the Seikan's "Goddess Dormitory".

Serene is a young woman with medium long white/gray hair that has longer hair strands hanging in the front and golden-yellow eyes.

Personality[]

Serene is a quite mysterious and docile girl who usually doesn't leave the dorm unless she goes to school, but with Koshi Nagumo's help, she managed to leave it and go on a trip with everyone. Her room is filled with trash, but she calls them items which can suck the moon energy which will help with her lunar technology. She also got an easy-going personality. She also lacks common sense and decency as she tried to strip in front of Koshi and once didn’t wear underwear while riding on his back as Santa during Christmas.

Plot[]

Mineru Wachi finds Koshi Nagumo collapsed on the street from hunger and takes him to her dorm. After giving him food and he meets with the other residents including Serene. Hearing his story, Mineru proposes he lives there and works as dorm mother. Initially Atena Saotome is against it, but later agrees.

One night when Koshi and Kiriya Sensho switch rooms, Serene wanting Kiriya to make her a late snack comes to Kiriya's room but finds Koshi in it. Seeing the hole made by Kiriya, she offers to fix it using her lunar technology if Koshi accepts being her servant. Being sleepy, Koshi accepts and she kisses him to fulfill the contract.

Etymology[]

The name Serene is based on Selene, the Greek Titan of the Moon (before Artemis).
Serene's surname Hozumi means "August" (八月) (ho), "conjunction" (朔) (zu) and "sun, day" (日) (mi).
